RESIDENTIAL BUILDING CATEDRÁTICO SOLER Alicante

In 2017, we received the commission to design a building in the centre of Alicante on the avenue Professor Soler, with the only condition by the developer of using all buildability associated with the plot.

The volume obtained from building regulations was a ground-level (garages)a first level dedicated to offices and five levels with one house per floor and a penthouse.

The plant organizes the day area ( living room) to the façade, while the night area with the bedrooms is organized around a patio to have lighting and natural ventilation mediating between both areas of the kitchen that is located in the centre.

Again we came across a narrow façade with a strong predominance of the vertical proportion focusing our project efforts on the design of the facade and a representative entrance hall.

We understood that our location, outside the Old Town on an avenue of the city with a lot of road traffic, allowed us to design a contemporary facade with an abstract composition that hides the everyday spaces.

Once inside, we find warm spaces, bathed by natural light sifted by the lamas with a reduced palette of materials and colours where dark wood, natural stone, anthracite grey carpentry and glass predominant.
